Winner Red Herring 100 Global 2009
SunTec wins the coveted Red Herring 100 Global 2009 award. This is further recognition to the Red Herring 100 Asia award that was conferred on SunTec in November 2009. Specific to the Red Herring 100 Global Award, the judges also reviewed each company’s global strategy to evaluate how it will be able to handle the challenges of internationalisation and a global presence.

For 10 years, Red Herring's editorial team has diligently surveyed entrepreneurship around the globe. Technology industry executives, investors, and observers have regarded the Red Herring 100 list as an invaluable instrument to discover and advocate the promising companies that will lead the next wave of disruption and innovation.
The award was presented to SunTec at Asia Red Herring 100 Conference in Shanghai, where executives from 200 companies, who were selected from over 1500 contenders, gathered to showcase their innovative technologies and winning strategies before a selected audience of specialists in the trade. Subsequently, the Red Herring jury evaluated the nominations for qualitative and quantitative criteria, such as technology innovation, quality of management, execution of strategy and integration into the company’s ecosystem, and named SunTec among the top 100 companies in Asia-Pacific region.
Most interesting Independent Software Vendor in India, 2007 & '08 -- IDC
SunTec was named one of the 21 ‘Most interesting Independent Software Vendors (ISV) in India, 2007 and 2008’, by IT market research and advisory firm IDC. The final list of the 21 most interesting companies was made based on exclusive interviews and existing information bases through which, IDC analysts aimed to provide key company profiles, product/solution USPs and positioning, go-to-market strategies and analyses. The report highlights the potential of Indian ISVs and reveals how they are attaining higher levels of maturity in terms of offering best-of-breed IT products and solutions. IDC believes that SunTec, as one of the leading vendors in billing solutions, not only fills an important portfolio gap in the banking industry but is also part of a growing opportunity in rapidly expanding markets.
NASSCOM 100 IT Innovators 2007
SunTec has entered the NASSCOM 100 IT Innovators List two times consecutively. NASSCOM showcases every year innovative company's profiles that have made innovation part of their growth strategies. The focus of NASSCOM Innovation Forum to build innovation as the key differentiator for the Indian IT And BPO industry resulted in a nation-wide search for these companies. The search for the past three years have unveiled a wide spectrum of young enterprising companies and some large companies that are making waves both at home and overseas.
Fastest growing IT company in India, 2005 & 2006 – Deloitte
SunTec was ranked amongst the fastest growing technology companies in India for two consecutive years by Deloitte. The Deloitte Fast 50 India program has been created to reach out to technology companies that champion innovations in the APAC region. The program in India incepted in 2005, tracks the growth rates of technology companies in the country with sound operating revenues that produce technology, manufacture a technology product, or devote a high percentage of effort to research development and technology.

SunTec was a finalist of the Red Herring 100 Asia award. Red Herring's list of top private companies is an important part of the magazine's tradition of identifying new and innovative technology companies and entrepreneurs in the region. Red Herring Asia evaluated more than 500 private companies through a careful analysis of financial data and subjective criteria, including quality of management, execution of strategy and dedication to research and development.

SunTec was a finalist in the world renowned Billing & OSS Excellence Awards in the category of "Operational Excellence".
