Commitment and participation from every employee of SunTec makes our efforts quite unique in this realm. Their inputs and insights are involved right from the brainstorming session that determines areas that need to be prioritized to the roadmap that needs to be followed – their participation is not just limited to the execution stage. We work for issues close to our collective mindset; and whatever we do, we do it with our heart.
SunTec Community Involvement Club
Volunteers from SunTec have constituted a club titled ‘SunTec Community Involvement Club’ (SCIC) that focuses on organizing various activities for the betterment of the society. SunTecians, from all our locations, have come forward to express their solidarity with the cause the club upholds, and support the club’s activities with strong participation in every initiative. The various initiatives driven by the club include:
- Providing medicines to the children of the Paediatric Ward of Regional Cancer Centre, Trivandrum
- Providing furniture and other infrastructure for the General Hospital, Trivandrum
- Providing study materials and toys to the children of various non-governmental institutions – Divine Children’s Home, Sai Gramam, Nirmala Shishu Bhavan, Badariya Yateem Khana -- that work for the upliftment of the weaker sections of the society.
SunTec Run
We organize a mass run, with participation from people from all walks of life including children and SunTec employees, every year, for a common cause. The event has been growing in stature through the years and is now a much-anticipated annual affair, held at Trivandrum.

Let's Run, Not Just For Fun
SunTec Run for National Institute of Speech & Hearing (NISH) was organized as a part of SunTec’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiative to spread awareness in the society about the need to empower differently-abled children. The Run was conducted on March 29, 2008 from SunTec's Knowledge Centre at Vazhuthakkad to our corporate office at Kuravankonam.
More than 700 people from all walks of life including young professionals, senior citizens, children and celebrity athletes participated along with SunTec employees to make the Run a big success. SunTec Run for NISH 2008 has been able to lay emphasis about the crucial necessity for early intervention in the lives of children with speech and hearing impairments.
