K Nanda Kumar, President & CEO

Nanda Kumar is the Founder President and CEO of SunTec Business Solutions, based in Trivandrum, India.

After a five year stint in the Public Sector, he set up a venture - SunTec Business Solutions. Over the past seventeen years, he has built SunTec into one of the more successful, Enterprise software product companies. Today SunTec has grown to a 400 member organization with offices in the US, UK, Germany, Singapore and Dubai.

Nanda Kumar is an expert in the transaction pricing and billing space. He conceptualised a horizontal billing platform, flexible enough to address pricing and billing requirements across industry verticals.

Relationship-based Pricing – an idea pioneered by Nanda Kumar, was well endorsed by leading analysts across the financial services industry. Four of the world’s top ten banks have implemented the solution and today, SunTec is considered a leading solution provider in the BFSI domain.

Nanda Kumar started SunTec developing the product, – as a technologist, but he has evolved into a business leader driving SunTec's Strategy Management and Business Development. He has done his Masters in Physics, and a Masters in Management (Finance).

G Vijaya Raghavan, Director

GVR's wealth of experience - more than 25 years in marketing, technology transfer and management consulting - has been instrumental in shaping up SunTec's growth trajectory, since 1997.

He provides guidance and management support in almost all aspects of operations, including human resource development, finance, strategy, and general administration.

As a pioneering technocrat, GVR has contributed tremendously for the evolution of IT and the software industry in the state of Kerala. He is the Founder and ex-CEO of Technopark, Trivandrum, which is India's first and largest software technology hub. GVR has been at the helm of several trade bodies including the International Association of Science Parks and the State Electronics Commission, and was a member of the advisory bodies set up by UNIDO. Currently, apart from his responsibilities at SunTec, GVR adorns the Honorary Director position of the National Institute of Speech and Hearing, the Trivandrum International School, and is also a member of the State Planning Commission.

Percy Barraclough, Chief Technical Officer

Percy's 35-year career in systems operations, programming and design, and business consultancy has rendered him an unparalleled expert in the banking and communications domains. He has amassed a treasure-house of knowledge in various facets of the service-based industries, including financial services, fixed wire, cable, GSM, CDMA, PCN, private mobile radio, and satellite. His primary focus is on business support systems with specific emphasis on billing, service management and customer care, and their integration with the operational environment. Percy was associated with companies like LogicaCMG and Unisys before joining SunTec. He has pioneered the design and implementation of several acclaimed customer care and billing solutions including 'Jupiter'. He is an active member of the GSM Technical Specification Committee.

In SunTec, Percy is the single-point reference guide for any strategic move related to technology, or product development initiative.

Dr Ian Kerr, Chief Operations Officer

A PhD from Edinburgh University, Ian is the spearhead of SunTec's global operations. He has more than 30 years of experience in building and implementing software solutions for the BFSI and communications domains. Ian's focus is on next generation banking back-office operations architecture, voice over packet, multimedia services and fixed mobile communications. He has worked in several senior management positions in the areas of technology, strategy, R&D, engineering and sales support. Prior to joining SunTec, Ian had worked with Nortel Europe, handling several key roles across the geography.

Ian is qualified in Strategic Finance from INSEAD.

Shaji Thomas, Vice President CME Sales

Shaji has more than 18 years of experience in marketing and selling telecom networking solutions in the US, Europe, Asia and South America. He has held senior positions in marketing, product management and strategic planning at ADC, Alcatel and Nortel. Prior to joining SunTec, Shaji was responsible for the international marketing of ADC’s wireline access products. He has a solid track record of increasing sales of complex solutions in extremely competitive global markets.

Shaji holds an MBA from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business and a BS Honors in Computer Science from the University of Ottawa. He also holds two US patents in networking technology.

K C Nair, VP and Geography Head - Americas

Handling both human resources and operations in India and North America for the past 15 years, KC has been through it all. With extensive experience in the software industry, KC has been the architect of several global sales bids of SunTec, which later transformed into the company's impressive client portfolio. As Geography Head, KC was instrumental in transforming SunTec into a fast-growing, highly successful product-based company winning customers around the continent. He was director of human resources for a software major in the US, before joining SunTec.

KC holds a Post-Graduate degree in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from LNMI, India.

Sathish T, Sr. VP and Head - Commercial and Legal

Based out of SunTec's Bangalore centre, Sathish is at the helm of the company's commercial and legal functions. He has around 30 years of experience in strategy, operations, sales and marketing, commercial, and purchase functions across various industries such as pharmaceutics, beverages and IT.

Sathish holds Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Law degrees from Mumbai University, and has a Diploma in Business Management from the Indian Merchants' Chamber.

Venugopal T R, Head - Finance

Venugopal, a professional accountant with over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting functions in the manufacturing, trading and IT verticals, is the chief of SunTec's finance and accounting functions. Through several of his earlier engagements, he has gained tremendous expertise in implementing ERP solutions in various business organizations.
